MCCB COMPACT 400A
Adjustable Molded Case Circuit Breakers are used for high short-circuit breaking capacity, setting instantaneous breaking current (short circuit), the thermal trip current (overload) or both, according to the required nominal current.
MCCB has three states: on, off and trip.
MCCB has the capability of making and breaking rated current, disconnecting short circuit current and disconnecting overload current.
According to the voltage level of 400 volt, MCCB’s ultimate breaking current capacity and service breaking current capacity can be calculated from the technical specification of its name plate.
If MCCB is used in places with a temperature above 40 degrees Celsius, correction factors should be applied to the rated current.
The maximum installation height of the MCCB is 2000 meters above sea level. If MCCB is installed at higher altitudes, the correction factor related to the insulation voltage should be used.
