Push buttons are used in circuits that are equipped with a contactor with the purpose of starting or stopping the operation and changing the status of the circuit. By pressing the push button, all the contacts change their state, and by releasing the push button the circuit returns to the first state. Push buttons are available in all color ranges but most commonly green and black are used to mean connection and red is used to indicate disconnection, red color is used as a breaker and black or green colors are used as circuit connectors.
The material used for push buttons are usually metal, bakelite and plastic.
